VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A man has been arrested on Friday in connection to a fatal hit-and-run in Virginia Beach last week, police said.
On Jan. 31, around 1:40 a.m., 63-year-old Thomas Moore was found dead after being struck by a vehicle who then fled the scene.
On Friday, 41-year-old Michael Shippy was charged with two counts of felony hit-and-run, possession of a schedule I/II substance and driving under the influence, police said.
