PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — As severe weather swept through Virginia on Wednesday, many are sharing the impacts.

Heavy rain and strong winds caused problems across the region, such as power outages, fallen trees and flooding.

The threat of severe thunderstorms had many areas, including Hampton Roads, under a severe thunderstorm warning.
