HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (WAVY) – Heavy rain rolled through the region Sunday. According to Super Doppler 10 Meteorologist Jeff Edmondson, some areas saw more than three inches of rainfall.

The storms also brought a light show. Several WAVY viewers shared images they captured of the lightning.

There is a good chance for more showers and thunderstorms Monday afternoon into the evening.
