With dry weather stretched across the region, we have no rain to worry about impacting any plans this weekend. However, you’ll have the luxury of picking and choosing what “season” you’d like to enjoy — it should feel like three different seasons in three days!

Because of the rainfall and passage of the cool front Thursday night, our temperature rollercoaster ride has been pushed into motion. Temperatures fall to seasonal standards Friday (mid-50s) under plenty of sunshine. A nice, refreshing start to the weekend!

Fast Car by Tracy Chapman
As fast as temperatures drop Friday is as fast as they climb on Saturday — a gently southwest breeze will bring our temperatures back up into the 60s. Some locations will be close to 70°! Expect mostly sunny skies with some passing clouds late in the day.

Cold Shot by Stevie Ray Vaughn
Finally to finish the weekend, a cold shot of air comes rushing in Saturday night and sets up a cold, but bright, Sunday. In fact, temperatures could drop a good 20° within an hour or so sometime later Saturday evening! Something to keep in mind if you’re out and about Saturday. Highs on Sunday will be pinned around 40° with bright sunshine.
The rollercoaster ride of temperatures continues next week, with temperatures climbing back into the 50s and 60s by Tuesday and Wednesday (respectively).
