(NEXSTAR) — Fifty years after the fall of Saigon, Vietnam veterans from across the country are sharing powerful, personal stories of service and sacrifice. The project began earlier this year when a group of veterans returned to Vietnam—many for the first time since the war—accompanied by Nexstar Media’s Jeremy Hubbard.
In the weeks that followed, a nationwide call went out inviting others to share their Vietnam experiences. The response was overwhelming.
In this special presentation, journalists from across Nexstar Media help tell the stories of a group often referred to as the “Lost Generation”—veterans who served in Vietnam and have carried its impact with them ever since.
