When the Cowboys traded Micah Parsons to the Packers just days before the season, NFL fans were confused, to say the least.
But a week later, the dust has settled. The Cowboys played their season opener without Parsons as the anchor of their defense, and the Packers prepped to get Parsons up to speed ahead of his debut at Lambeau Field.
Given that Parsons had not practiced with the Cowboys while his contract negotiations started and later fell apart, it was unclear whether or not he would be able to play in Week 1 for the Packers in their divisional matchup against the Lions.
But on Saturday, the team revealed that the plan was to use Parsons in a limited capacity, and as the Packers took the field, it was clear Parsons was hyped to be back.

After the warm-up period was over, Parsons would make his true first run out of the tunnel, and received a hero’s welcome from the Lambeau faithful.

But even with the fanfare, Parsons clearly has not nailed down the finer points of the team’s pregame rituals just yet. As his teammates took part in a coordinated step-back jumper celebration, Parsons was clearly a beat behind, working to keep in line with the movements of the crowd.

While Parsons might not have the team’s pre-game moves down just yet, chances are good that he still knows how to rush the passer just fine.
