One week after the British Open, LIV Golf was in the U.K. this week, offering its customary $25 million purse, with $4 million to the winner and $5 million set aside for the team event.
For a remarkable fifth time this season, Joaquin Niemann is taking home the big check. The Chilean co-led after Friday and led by six shots after Saturday, then held off a hard-charging Bubba Watson on Sunday at JCB Golf and Country Club in England.
Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII won the team title over Niemann’s Torque GC, the team's fourth win this season.
