The PGA Tour stayed in the Midwest this week, traveling from Michigan to Illinois for the John Deere Classic, where $8.4 million was for grabs with the winner earning $1,512,000.
Brian Campbell is taking home the big check for the second time this season after a second playoff win. He defeated Emiliano Grillo on the first hole at TPC Deere Run, a little more than four months after defeating Aldrich Potgieter in a playoff at the Mexico Open at VidantaWorld.
Campbell moved to 28th in the FedEx Cup standings and added two more years of exempt status on Tour.
