The six Premier League teams to qualify for the 2025–26 Champions League have been confirmed after the conclusion of the current campaign.

Five teams were slated to qualify for European football's top tier competition—thanks to Arsenal defeating Real Madrid in the quarterfinals of this year's edition which handed England an insurmountable number of coefficient points—but Tottenham Hotspur's Europa League success means six of the Premier League's finest will compete for the first time in history.

Three others teams will represent the Premier League in European competition next year, two in the Europa League and one in the Conference League.

Europa League Winner

Liverpool were the first team to secure Champions League qualification after winning the Premier League at the end of April, with Arsenal, the bridesmaid in three straight seasons, next to secure a spot after their 1–0 victory over Newcastle United at Emirates Stadium.

Five teams were left vying for three places on the final day of the season: Manchester City, Newcastle United, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.

In the end, Pep Guardiola's former champions City got the job done with victory at Fulham, while Chelsea secured their spot with a tense 1-0 win over Forest at the City Ground. Newcastle, a constant presence in the top five over the past few weeks, also held on to their place despite losing at home to Everton. They were helped by 10-player Aston Villa losing 2-0 at Manchester United.

Tottenham make it in after beating United 1-0 in the Europa League final in Bilbao, even though their 4-1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion on the final day ensured they finished 17th in the Premier League with 22 defeats to their name.

Aston Villa will compete in next season's Europa League after finishing sixth, where they will be joined by FA Cup winners Crystal Palace.

Unai Emery's Villans enjoyed a terrific run through to this season's Champions League quarterfinals and will be a feared side in the Europa League next season, especially when you consider Emery's record in the competition. Palace are competing in Europe for the first time.

Nottingham Forest, so long a frontrunner in the race for Champions League qualification, eventually fell away to finish seventh, but Nuno Espirito Santo's side will savour European football next season when they compete in the Conference League.
