The 2025 Major League Baseball All-Star starters were announced on Wednesday, highlighted by last year's American League and National League MVPs Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani, as well as the MLB's home run leader Cal Raleigh.
On Sunday, the complete All-Star rosters including pitchers and reserve position players were announced, completing the full field. The best pitchers in baseball—like top aces Paul Skenes of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Tarik Skubal of the Detroit Tigers—officially received their All-Star bids. We'll have to wait and see whether they will each get the ball to start the All-Star Game.
Some of baseball's up-and-coming stars like James Wood and Jacob Wilson earned their first All-Star appearances this year, with Wilson getting in as a starter and Wood as a reserve. Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong earned his first appearance too, getting in as an NL starter.
