RICHMOND, Va. (Courtesy of William & Mary Athletics) — After a record-setting campaign, OF Ben Parker has been named the 2025 CAA Co-Player of the Year, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.

Parker, who also earned First Team All-CAA honors, was one of five Tribe baseball players named to the all-conference squad: OF Lucas Carmichael, OF Christian Rush and INF Jamie Laskofski were named Second Team All-CAA, while Laskofski was also selected to the All-Rookie team.

OF BEN PARKER
Parker had a prolific offensive season in 2025, posting a .413/.502/.698 slash line with 11 home runs and 50 RBI. In Division I ranks, he stands third in hits (93), seventh in doubles (23), 11th in average, and 13th in total bases. He’s on pace to break the single-season hits record, which currently stands at 96.

The Los Altos, Calif. native led the CAA in numerous statistical categories, including batting average, hits, on-base percentage, and doubles. During the season, he posted a 34-game hitting streak which set a modern-era program record and tied the all-time CAA record.

Parker is the sixth conference player of the year in program history, joining Ben Williamson  (2023), Michael Katz (2014), Greg Sexton (2007), Chris Rahl (2004), and John Volpi (1983).

This is his second All-CAA honor, having earned Second Team recognition in 2024.

OF LUCAS CARMICHAEL
Carmichael had a breakout senior season, batting .365 with a career-best .574 slugging percentage, 12 home runs, and 47 RBI. His nine homers in conference play ranked second-most.

In the CAA leaderboards, the Chester, Va. product ranked fifth in average, third in hits (84, top-20 in Division I), and fifth in total bases (132, top-100 in Division I). He racked up a career-long 23-game hitting streak from March 9-April 18, which stands as third-longest in modern program history.

INF JAMIE LASKOFSKI
Laskofski was one of the league’s most impactful rookies. He led all CAA freshmen in batting average (.357), runs (53), hits (74), and stolen bases (12), while posting a .420 on-base percentage and collecting 41 RBI.

In conference play, the native of Burke, Va. upped his average to .396, driving in 24 runs with an OPS over 1.000. He ranked top-100 nationally in hits and fifth among freshmen.

OF CHRISTIAN RUSH
Rush racked up 62 hits and 11 doubles with a .298 batting average. The senior from Perkasie, Pa. set career-highs in nearly every statistical category, boosting his slugging percentage (.563) over .100 points from the previous season. His 14 home runs were third-most in the CAA, and his eight roundtrippers in conference play ranked fourth.
