NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The Lake Taylor boys basketball continued its torrid run through the season Wednesday by defeating Norview 62-33 for its 12th win in a row.
The Titans (15-1) led 29-21 at the half and pulled away even further in the second half.
Lake Taylor’s Aaron Elliott led all scorers with 18 points.
The Titans outscored the Pilots 18-5 in the fourth quarter.
The loss snapped Norview’s four-game winning streak.
Lake Taylor is at Granby Friday night.
Also in Norfolk, Maury won its sixth game in a row after defeating Booker T. Washington 61-48.
The Commodores (13-3) are the only team to defeat Lake Taylor this season, a 61-56 overtime decision in December.
Maury hosts Norview Friday night.
