NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Kids and parents braved the heat Thursday afternoon at Norfolk Christian School to take part in Brian Robinson Jr.’s first youth football camp in Hampton Roads.
The fourth-year Commanders running back took the field around 2 p.m. and put kids through football drills and fun activities like a dance contest.
It was Robinson’s first ever trip to Hampton Roads.
“I’m glad my management put this together because I was able to come to an area I never would have,” he said Thursday. “It feels great to be here. … I want to make an impact on the kids and hopefully it sticks with them for years to come.”
