Beach native wins first X Games Gold Medal

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (WAVY) — It was a golden Saturday for Virginia Beach Native, Justin Dowell, who captured his first X Game gold medal in Salt Lake City.

Justin captured his first gold medal in the BMX Championship, and logged the two best scores at the men’s BMX park. It’s the Princess Anne alum’s third overall X Games medal, as he won two silvers in 2022.
