Woman gets 26 years in man’s murder in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A Richmond woman is facing 26 years in prison for the murder of man who was found dead in a Norfolk home in January.

Norfolk police said 58-year-old Larry Nicholson was found unresponsive in the the 800 block of West 42nd Street. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene. 


Police later charged 39-year-old Moranda Marshall with second-degree murder.

Officials with the Norfolk Circuit Court said in a tweet Friday that Marshall was sentenced to 40 years with 14 suspended.
