PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — The top baby names for boys and girls in Virginia continued their reign into 2024, according to new data from the Virginia Department of Health.
The VDH recently released the top baby names for 2024 in the Commonwealth. The VDH states that the Commonwealth saw a total of 94,443 babies born in the state during the year of 2024.
“The 2024 list showcases a blend of strong, meaningful names that parents are embracing for their little ones,” Chief Deputy State Registrar for Virginia Celes Davis said.
