VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A man pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of his wife in Virginia Beach.
Prosecutors say Richard Woltz killed 75-year-old Marlene Woltz in their home on Five Forks Road last January.
Police found Marlene Woltz dead inside of the home after dispatchers received a call for medical assistance. Court documents show she suffered blunt force trauma.
Documents also show police found a frayed electrical cord in the bathtub, suggesting electrocution.
Richard Woltz is scheduled to be sentenced in May.
