PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth investigators are looking for whoever robbed a King convenience store at gunpoint on Wednesday afternoon — in a panda mask.
The armed robbery happened just before 1 p.m. at the store in the 2900 block of Victory Blvd. Police say a male suspect pointed a gun at the clerk and took money and cigarettes before fleeing and meeting up with two others. No injuries were reported.
He’s described as 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 4 inches tall with a medium build.
In addition to the panda mask, he was wearing black sweatpants with white stripes on each leg, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue shirt and a black jacket.
