HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Police have made an arrest after three people were shot on Easterly Avenue on Friday night, between Rip Rap Road and West Mercury Blvd.
Dispatchers received a call about the shooting in the 1200 block of Easterly at 9:06 p.m.
All three victims, a 17-year-old female, a 19-year-old male and a 20-year-old female, were transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Police say all are from Hampton, and the suspect and victims all knew each other.

On Sept. 4, Newport News police said they arrested William Thomas Bailey Jr., 19, of the 300 block of Langley Avenue in Hampton, in connection to the shooting. He’s been charged with two counts of maiming and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
He’s in custody at the Hampton City Jail.
