SMITHFIELD, Va. (WAVY) — In collaboration with the FBI, the Smithfield Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at a Truist Bank on Thursday.
Officers responded to Truist Bank, located at 1803 S. Church Street, for a reported robbery. The suspect displayed a firearm and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The man wore a black ski mask and a black hoodie with an orange safety vest and sunglasses.
