NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Police in Newport News located a robbery suspect over the weekend — but she allegedly didn’t go down without a fight.
Newport News police say 21-year-old Keeshon Richardson became disorderly when they found her at the Budget Lodge on J. Clyde Morris Boulevard on May 19.
Police say she wrapped her legs around one officer — preventing him from walking. She then allegedly kicked another officer in the chest before she was handcuffed.
Police say they found crack in Richardson’s purse.
She now faces assault and drug charges in addition to the trouble she faces for the robbery.
