PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A McDonald’s was held up early Thursday morning, police say.
Portsmouth police said officers were called to an armed robbery at a McDonald’s at 2716 Airline Boulevard for an armed robbery around 4 a.m.
Dispatchers said no one was hurt in the robbery.
This same restaurant was robbed on July 27.
McDonald’s released the following statement regarding the Wednesday morning robbery:
Our highest priority is always the safety and well-being of our employees and customers at our restaurants. We’re grateful for the law enforcement professionals who responded to this situation and are cooperating fully with the police investigation.”
