VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Gov. Glenn Youngkin has publicly given his endorsement for Mayor Bobby Dyer for reelection in Virginia Beach.
“Once a Marine, always a Marine,” Youngkin said, in his endorsement. “This guy understands what it means to serve and do the job and, yes, he’s done it in tough times.”
Youngkin said Dyer has helped bring jobs to Virginia Beach and has supported police efforts. Youngkin’s endorsement was paired with the endorsement of Dyer by The Republican Party of Virginia Beach which has now officially endorsed candidates in all local City Council and School Board races.
