PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Police responded to a reported robbery at the Wells Fargo in the 5700 block of Portsmouth Boulevard on Wednesday.
Portsmouth dispatchers say it happened around 2:30 p.m.
Portsmouth Police say the suspect entered the bank and demanded money by passing a note. The suspect fled the scene on foot.
There were no injuries reported.
Portsmouth Police spokesperson Lt. B.K. Hall says the suspect is a male. Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Line.
