VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A 22-year-old woman who went missing from Virginia Beach in June committed suicide, officials confirmed.
Denise Martin died in June from self-inflicted drowning, according to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
Martin was reported missing from her Red Mill home on June 19. Her father was the last person to see her until a search crew found her body in a wooded area off of Edgehill Avenue more than a week later.
