MANTEO, N.C. (WAVY) — A 32-foot vessel became beached at Cape Hatteras National Seashore.
A news release from the National Park Service said the vessel, named Pura Vida, was discovered grounded on the beach the morning of July 21. It was located about a mile south of off-road vehicle ramp 38.
The park service provided this image of the sailboat.
The Seashore coordinated with the U.S. Coast Guard and with the vessel’s owner to have it removed from the beach.
