DARE COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — Dare County Sheriff’s Office announced on Thursday the recovery of stolen property from the Dare Storage Unit in Skyco, deputies said.
Numerous boating items were taken from the unit totaling around $10,000. All items were recovered, deputies said.
Four arrests were made in connection to the breaking and entering that occurred on Aug. 8.
The four individuals arrested were identified as: 56-year-old Barney E. Midgette, 48-year-old Jeremey L. Gabbard, 44-year-old Raymond V. Thomas and 37-year-old Amanda J. Wells.
All four were charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. Thomas and Wells each have an additional charge of felony possession of stolen property.
