RODANTHE, N.C. (WAVY) – The Dare County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a person reported missing on Feb. 13.
According to officials, the body of the missing person was found on Feb. 14 in the area of North Beach Campground.
The name of the missing person has yet to be released, and the North Carolina Medical Examiner’s Office does not suspect any foul play at this time.
Officers are still investigating this incident and are urging anyone with any information to contact the Dare County Sheriff’s Office at 252-475-5980 or the Dare County Crime Line at 252-473-3111.
