Kitty Hawk Ocean Rescue marks the end of Summer 2025 with the season’s statistics

KITTY HAWK, N.C. (WAVY) — Kitty Hawk Ocean Rescue unveiled their Summer 2025 statistics, as their team transitions to the fall season, according to the Town of Kitty Hawk on Facebook.

The organization’s last day for 2025 was Oct. 15.

Over the course of the summer, the division had:

• 21 incidents with 35 victims
• 20 major medical emergencies
• 105 minor medical aids
• 8 missing persons found
