ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) — A man has been arrested, and a woman is wanted in connection with a shooting in Elizabeth City last Tuesday, according to police.
On July 22, officers received a report in reference to shots fired in the 500 block of West Ehringhaus Street.
Detectives with the Elizabeth City Police Department later obtained warrants for the arrests of two individuals on Wednesday, July 30.
19-year-old Victor Eugene White III has been arrested and charged for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflicting serious injury and discharging a firearm in the city limits. 21-year-old Chloe Grace Breeding is wanted for the same charges.


White was processed and taken to Albemarle District Jail with no bond. His first court appearance will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Pasquotank County District Jail.
