ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) — An Elizabeth City man is wanted on drug charges after a search warrant was executed for a vehicle he allegedly stolen.
The Elizabeth City Police Department Support Services Division received a report Wednesday, Sept. 24, of a possible stolen and “chopped up” vehicle in the 500 block of Banks Street at approximately 12:20 p.m.
When officers arrived, they located the vehicle, secured the scene and obtained a search warrant. During the search, several narcotics were discovered. Detectives then contacted Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit to aid in the investigation, and a search warrant was obtained for the narcotics.
Terrance Daquan Perkins, 31, is now wanted for the following charges:
- Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle
- Alter/Dest/Etc. Stolen Motor Vehicle Parts
- (2cts) Trafficking Methamphetamine
- Possession with intent Manufacture Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine
- Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana
- (4cts) Trafficking Opium/Heroin
- (2cts) Possession with Intent to Manufacture Sell and Deliver Schedule II
- Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine
- Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II
- Possession of a Firearm by Felon
This is an active and ongoing investigation.
