Court records show Malcom Shemar Lee was found guilty of second-degree murder, use of a firearm in a  felony and nonviolent felon in possession of a firearm on Dec. 7.

Police said 20-year-old Adren Garnett was killed in an Oct. 23, 2017 shooting in the parking lot of the Burnt Ordinary Apartments. An 18-year-old James City County man was injured after police say he was shot in the leg.
