DARE COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — A 36-year-old woman was arrested Thursday for stolen business checks and forgery, according to the Dare County Sheriff’s Office.
On March 13, the Dare County Sheriff’s Office was informed that Christina R. Walker, of Manteo, had obtained business checks and forged signatures.
Upon further investigation, warrants were issued for her arrest.
Walker was charged with two counts of forgery of endorsement, two counts of uttering forged endorsement and one count of larceny by employee.
Walker was issued a $60,000 secured bond in lieu of the charges.
