Water Country USA to remain open on select dates after sunset for first time in history

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — A new experience at Water Country USA will allow people for the first time in the water park’s history to stay after the sun goes down.

Starting on June 27 and going through July 19, the water park will open from 8-11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

During the experience, also called “Aquaglow,” water slides will be illuminated and guests will be able to dance through neon-lit party zones. Park President Kevin Lembke said this will be the first time in the park’s history it will be open after sundown.

Aquaglow will be a separately ticketed event, and members will be able to save $10 for each ticket purchased. Tickets can be purchased here.
