NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — In Norfolk, the Virginia Zoo is looking to upgrade its veterinary equipment with a special fundraiser.
In partnership with Give Local 757, the fundraiser seeks to raise $5,000 by May 6. All funds go towards improving the medical equipment for the Zoo’s Animal Wellness Campus, a facility that promotes animals overall health, a release states.
Such equipment includes SPO2 modifications to their petMAP+II, a L-CU300 Incubator, a Vet Pro fluid pump and educational materials, a release states.
The Zoo hopes that by staying up-to-date with necessary veterinary technology, it will allows them to maintain and support their animals’ health.
