VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A man has been injured after a shooting Friday afternoon in Virginia Beach, according to police.
Police say it happened around 1:35 p.m. in the 400 block of Village Drive.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect in the incident was identified as 22-year-old Malik Brown. He was taken into custody and charged with aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and reckless handling of a firearm.
The incident is under investigation.
