VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — At least two people have been accused in a string of vehicle break-ins last week during which shots were fired.

Virginia Beach Police released several grainy photos taken outside the Latitudes Apartments off Donna Drive the night of the crime, which was on April 16.

The suspects pictured broke into multiple vehicles at the apartment complex by smashing windows, police said. A victim decided to confront them. One of the suspects fired five shots towards the victim. The bullets hit a vehicle and a building behind the victim.
