VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A Saturday night crash on Virginia Beach Boulevard is being investigated as a DUI, police said.
According to officials, around 10:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard for reports of a crash involving a motorcycle. This is near the intersection with Bird Neck Road.
Police said a preliminary investigation found that all parties involved had minor injuries. Later on, officers arrested the motorcycle driver, 41-year-old Christos Markopoulos, for DUI.
The incident remains under investigation.
