VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Three people have been displaced after a house fire on Declaration Road Wednesday morning.
According to officials, around 5:50 a.m., crews were dispatched to the 600 block of Declaration Road for reports of a residential structure fire. This is in the Pembroke Manor area of the city.
Upon arrival to the scene, heavy smoke could be seen coming from a two-story house. The fire was considered under control just after 6 a.m.

Crews said two adults and one child were able to safely leave the house prior to their arrival.
No injuries were reported, but the three residents of the house have been displaced, according to fire crews.
The origin of the fire was determined to be from an upstairs bedroom. The cause remains under investigation.
