VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Multiple lanes will be closed near the intersection of Kempsville Road and Providence Road in Virginia Beach so utility work can be safely completed.

According to the City of Virginia Beach, the following lanes will be closed from Oct. 17 to Oct. 19:

  • One through lane of eastbound Providence Road, westbound Providence Road and southbound Kempsville Road
  • Eastbound Providence Road’s left turn lanes onto northbound Kempsville Road
  • Northbound Kempsville Road’s left turn lane onto westbound Providence Road

Flagging operations will help manage traffic, and traffic signs will be placed to ensure drivers are aware of the closures.
