VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The celebration of life service for Virginia Beach Police Department officers Cameron Girvin and Christopher Reese was held at Rock Church in Virginia Beach Saturday.
Officers Girvin and Reese were shot and killed in the line of duty during a traffic stop in Virginia Beach Friday, Feb. 21. VBPD has created a website with information about the service and ways the community can help.
In accordance with the wishes of the Girvin and Reese families, the public was able to pay their respects along South Witchduck Road between Princess Anne Road and Grayson Road after the service.
