Holiday Lights at the Beach returns to Virginia Beach Boardwalk for 31st year

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Holiday Lights at the Beach returns yet again to the Virginia Beach Boardwalk this November and December, featuring new events full of festive fun.

As always, the event returns with its colorful archways and luminous fixtures all across the boardwalk, along with a 40-foot Christmas tree and the longest curved LED tunnel in the world.

New this year is “Santa’s Seaside Cinema” on select Saturdays and “Santa Paws Tuesdays”, where every vehicle that visits the Holiday Lights with a furry pet will receive a free pup cup for each four-legged friend they bring.

In addition, pet owners can also enter the Santa Paws Photo Contest for a chance to win a gift card to participating Oceanfront restaurants, along with getting free admission to Holiday Lights at the Beach. Participants are invited to share their holiday pet photos on social media under #SantaPawsPhoto and tag @beacheventsvb, @dinevb and the partner restaurant of the week.

A winner will be picked weekly, and all seven winners will be invited to the First Night Holiday Hike on Jan. 1 to crown one pet as the Grand Marshal of the Holiday Hike!
