He faces up to a combined 27 years in prison on a combination of misdemeanor and felony charges, including two counts of DUI: permanent injury, DUI: serious injury and driving on a suspended license.

Dashcam video from a vehicle on the interstate at the time was introduced as evidence, though it wasn’t played for the judge.

“On or about Sept. 27, 2024, defendant drove his black Chrysler vehicle up the Rosemont offramp for Interstate 264 west,” the stipulation reads. “Defendant proceeded to head east on 264 west in the far-left lane.”

Wallace’s car slammed head-on into a Kia Soul with two people in it, which then crashed into several other vehicles.

Wallace appeared in court in a wheelchair. A sentencing date has been set for Sept. 30.
