NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Two people suffered serious injuries in a crash in Norfolk Sunday evening.

The accident in the 6100 block of Granby Street involved an overturned vehicle.

A witness said the overturned SUV ran off the road, went airborne over a row of bushes and landed in a parking lot where it hit several parked cars. The SUV then caught on fire.

Police advised drivers to expect traffic delays in the area while they investigated.
