SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The new overpass at Wilroy Road will open to the public early next week, according to officials from the City of Suffolk.
The project, which began preliminary work in 2015 that continued into the summer of 2023, is part of the project to realign Nansemond Parkway and Wilroy Road.
As such, the stretch from 2450 Nansemond Parkway to the railroad tracks will close once the overpass opens.
Suffolk officials say that temporary stop signs will be utilizied until signals are up and operational.
