SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – There’s a fun new offering at two of Suffolk’s most scenic parks.
Kayaks are now available to rent at Constant’s Wharf Park & Marina, located at 110 E. Constance and Sleepy Hole Park at 4616 Sleepy Hole Park Road.
The City of Suffolk provided this photo showing where one of the rental spots is located.
Here’s how it works. First, you’ll need to download the rent.fun app available on Google Play and in the Apple App Store. You can rent a kayak for two hours for $25 and if you’re having so much fun you want to keep going, it costs $15 for each extra hour. Once you’re done, return your equipment to the station. In the app, select “Unlock” then choose “End rental”. You’ll be required to take a picture
The rental includes a kayak, a paddle, and a life jacket. Check the app for important rules and regulations regarding kayak usage. For more information on the Suffolk rentals, contact (757) 514-7250.
