SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Suffolk Police have made an arrest in a recent armed robbery at a 7-Eleven.
34-year-old Harvey L. Lewis, IV is facing two counts of robbery using a firearm or displaying a firearm, one count of use or display firearm in the commission of a felony, one count possess, transport firearms by convicted felons and one count conspiracy to commit a felony. These are all felony charges.
Police say these charges stem from an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven store in the 800 block of Carolina Road. The crime took place just after midnight on February 1. The suspect pointed a gun at two clerks and demanded money, then left with the money in a gold or silver Chevy Trailblazer.
The incident remains under investigation.
Two weeks prior, on January 19, the same store was robbed at gunpoint shortly after midnight. Two suspects walked into the store, pulled their weapon and demanded money from the registers.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
