SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk Fire and Rescue helped a camel get back on its feet Saturday.
Around 10:50 a.m., SFR’s Technical Rescue Team, to include Battalion 2, Rescue 1, and Engine 2 responded to the Windsor area to assist a veterinarian who requested the team help stand a camel.
SFR’s Technical Rescue Team specializes in large animal rescue and had previously trained with the veterinarian.
Thanks to the crews assistance, the Camel was able to successfully get over this hump.
