SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Five people were injured in a crash in Suffolk Monday morning, according to Suffolk Fire & Rescue. One person had to go to the hospital.
Just before 9 a.m. Monday, crews responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Godwin Boulevard and Hillpoint Boulevard.
Pictures from the scene show a badly-damaged vehicle on its roof.
Officials said one person had to be extricated from a vehicle and four others suffered minor injuries and did not go to the hospital. However, one person was taken to an area hospital for moderate injuries.
