SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk Fire & Rescue crews were called to the scene of crash on route 58 westbound overnight.

Fire officials say it happened between the scales and the landfill.

One person was removed from a vehicle by rescue crews and rushed to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Another person was also taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries, officials say.
